A.This is limited by GPS accuracy so 50 meters would be a
safe minimum.
Q.What is the
largest radius geofence that I can create?
A.Several thousand kilometers.
Q.Can geofences
be interlapped and with-in each other?
A.Yes. There is no restrictions on how geofences are defined.
Q.Is there
a way to determine which geofence a vehicle is closest to?
A.Yes. You can use the GEONEAR command. In the response SMS
you will get the current location and the nearest fence site.
The distance and heading (direction) is also detailed.
Q.Does Carminder
have anti-tow away alert?
A.Yes. Enable it once with command TOWON. Every time vehicle
is armed or key is removed from ignition (depending on wiring
setup) carminder will enable the anti-tow away. Note anti-tow
away fence is shared with fence stored in position 0. radius
of the tow away alert can be set by defining a geofence at
position 0. When vehicle is armed geographic co ordinates
are updated for the vehicles current location and radius of
previous geofence is used. If no geofence is defined at position
0 then the radius defaults to 100 meters.
