Q.How do I
prompt Carminder to send me an update of where my vehicle
is?
A.There are two ways. The simplest and easiest way is to call
the unit. Carminder will reject your call thus not costing
you anything. You will then receive a text message with an
update of your vehicles location.
The second way is to send the command
‘LOCATION’. You can also find how far your vehicle
is from any of your geofences by adding the number of the
geofence after the command. E.g. LOCATION 4. This will give
you the location and distance and direction of your vehicle
from geofence 4.
Q. I don’t
wish to connect carminder to an alarm, are there entry and
exit delays?
A.You can enable the entry & exit delay by using the command
DELAYON.
Q.I want to receive a text message
every time my vehicles are started and stopped can Carminder
do this?
A.Yes. By connecting the ARM input
to ignition and enabling this feature by using the ARMON command.
Every time the vehicle is started and stopped you are notified.
